Why meditation

At times, a sense of feeling overwhelmed and experiencing unwelcome tension can be an undercurrent in our lives. Meditation can be an effective tool to help counter this. It is simple to learn and simple to do.

Learning this time-honoured skill in a one-on-one guided session is an effective way to enable the beginnings of a practice that can generate subtle, ongoing benefits.

Incorporating an on-going routine of meditation into daily life can take us from being like a musical instrument which is out of tune and discordant, to being in a state where we feel more in tune, more harmonious, calm and centred : useful attributes in creating fulfillment in both our personal and our work lives.

What can meditation do for you?

Regular practice can help decrease anxious, worried thoughts and encourage a sense of equanimity and harmony.

Quietening the mind can diminish negative feelings such as anger or painful ruminations assisting us to experience greater inner peace.

Learning to live in the present moment — not dwelling on the past, or worrying about the future — reduces stress and helps us feel more centred and appreciative.

Meditation can be life-enriching: bringing more calm, clarity of thought and consciousness into everyday life.

Pricing

Meditation, clearing mind fog.

A  session (around 1.5 to 2 hours) is $120 if you come to me in Vaucluse, in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, or $150 if I travel to you in the inner west or north shore (within an approx. 15  km distance). Rates to attend outside of this area, or for two people, by arrangement.

A follow-up lesson to check on your progress can be arranged either at my place, $100, or your place, $120.
